C1 Clay Bar

The C1 is our clay bar. It’s used as the last step oncethe car has been cleaned, but prior to polishing.

Why should you use a clay bar?

Our cars are exposed to more all kinds of contaminants and dirt. Even though the car may seem spotless after a thorough detailing, there will still be microscopical contaminants that are etched into the clear coat.

In order to get the best result when polishing the car, a clean surface is an absolute necessity. The only method of removing these particles is to use a clay bar. The clays’ stickiness pulls the contaminants from the clear coat.

Keep in mind that this is intended to be used prior to polishing the car. Hence the surface may be dulled to a degree after using the clay bar. To reduce the loss of gloss we recommend to use the Pureest C2 in conjunction with the C1 to ensure that the surface is lubricated ro reduce friction. Don’t use the C1 and C2 in direct sunlight and make sure to wear gloves

How to use:

Make sure the car is thoroughly clean.

Apply the C2 lubricant spray to both the clay and the surface.

Work the clay over the whole paint in cross-hatch motions, if the clay bar is full of grime, simply fold it and drag it out again. Wipe off the C2 and started the polishing!
